If you attend the Community Development PiP Programme it will help you to become a competent, effective, and informed practitioner who is capable of:

  • developing cross-cutting solutions to complex societal problems.
  • working across professional boundaries with communities, organisations and bodies, and receiving project guidance (including asset mapping).
  • exploring how social work and community development practices can be integrated in a context of risk, uncertainty, conflict, and contradiction.
  • developing critical understandings of power, inequality, social injustice, diversity and inclusion, leadership, partnership-working, co-design, and co-production.

12 teaching days
and 9 study days
