It's Mocktail Hour - Enjoy something new this summer
Reducing your alcohol intake has lots of benefits - mentally, physically, socially, financially. Sometimes you might not want a drink or it's not the right time to have a drink eg if you have to drive or have other responsibilities. At times like these you may want to consider having something different from the usual soft drinks - why not try a non-alcoholic cocktail (mocktail). See the booklet and links below for some tasty recipes.
Other ways to reduce your alcohol intake:
- have alcohol free days
- drink only at dinner (drink less but enjoy your drink more when consumed with food)
- make sure the water glasses stay full
- use smaller glasses
- sip at your drink
- don’t continually top up wine glasses
- serve low alcohol or alcohol-free wine
- make spritzers
- support one of the annual campaigns - stoptober, dry january
