Reducing Stress - How to Be Happier - with John Kabat Zinn (available anytime) - Action for Happiness Webinar

The UMatter Team

Life often feels out of control. How can we respond wisely and discover more peace, even in really stressful situations?

At this special event, the 'father of modern mindfulness', Jon Kabat-Zinn explores the impact of stress and how we can learn to respond mindfully to difficult situations. By cultivating our awareness of life as it unfolds, moment by moment, including our reactivity and impulse to fall into automatic and unhelpful judgements, we can change our relationship to pain, dramatically reduce our suffering, and deepen our sense of connection with ourselves and each other.

Jon also reflected on some of the challenges facing our world and how cultivating mindfulness can help us cope better, enhance our relationships and contribute to a more compassionate, tolerant and warm-hearted society.

This event took place on 7th December but is available to watch here and was hosted by Dr Mark Williamson from Action for Happiness.
